This week, our meal plan was really easy, because we had almost everything we needed in the freezer or pantry. I remembered to check my Kitchen Inventory that you can get here. I remembered to write down my recipe ingredients, and I stayed well below my grocery budget so far this week.
Here is this weeks meal plan:
Frozen Pizza Night
Spaghetti and Garlic Bread
White Beans and Andouille Sausage – Recipe Notes: I am using chopped carrots and no collards. I am also not using breadsticks, because I am going to make cornbread instead.
(Small Group on Thursday so no cooking that night)
Leftovers
My meal planning weeks run from Saturday to Friday, and I usually cook On Saturday’s, but this week my family went out to eat, so there is one less meal here.
Grocery Store Notes:
Sprouts has Grapes for .77/lb and Blackberries for .98 each. Shrimp is $5.99/lb (plus a $5 off $30 coupon)
Aldi has Mangoes for .49 each, Vidalia Onions .99 per 2 lb bag, Zucchini or Squash for .99 per 20 oz pkg, and Chicken for $1.69/lb.
Kroger has Sweet Corn 6/$2, Lunchables for $1 (So we can make it through the last week of school), and they are still running that Buy 4, Save $4 sale (You can see if they still have the All coupon available, but Ibotta has a $1 rebate, so you can still get the All for .99!!)
What are you making this week?
